Empire Magazine have revealed the cover of their next issue, and as you can see, it features both Batman and Superman standing tall in the very different cities of Gotham and Metropolis. The cover offers up a great look at the costumes worn by both of the heroes.

Talking to the magazine about Batman v Superman, director Zack Snyder had this to say about plans for the DC Cinematic Universe. “I want all the other directors of the other films to be able to stretch their legs and do what they want, but at the same time there is a big interconnected universe.” So, the movies might not be quite as close as the Marvel ones!

The synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice reveals that, “Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Scoot McNairy, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and many more, Batman v Superman hits on March 25th, 2016. Check out our recap of the latest trailer right here.
