Avengers: Infinity War has been shooting in Atlanta for a couple of weeks now, and Marvel Studios has announced the start of production today with a video which takes us behind the scenes of the highly anticipated release. Kicking off with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), and Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) on an alien landscape, we then hear from Kevin Feige and directors Joe and Anthony Russo about what we should expect from the film.
Among the highlights are some brand new concept art of Josh Brolin’s Thanos, Tony Stark looking on at another army of suits, and most excitingly, Rocket Raccoon fighting side by side with Thor (who appears to be wielding a very different Mjolnir, a possible Ragnarok spoiler).
Marvel is shooting Avengers: Infinity War and the currently untitled fourth instalment back to back, and with a few other releases to promote in 2017, chances are that this is the last we’ve seen from this one for a while. Still, it’s a great way to get us excited for what’s clearly shaping up to be their biggest movie yet, and a number of characters are also confirmed as appearing, including The Winter Soldier. It’s time to start getting seriously excited, folks…
