A new batch of promo art for Avengers: Age of Ultron has found its way online, and it gives us a much closer look at Ultron (James Spader), The Vision (Paul Bettany), and the Hulk fighting Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armour.

As great as all that is, two pieces of artwork – you can see the full-size versions by clicking on the thumbnails below – reveal new details about the creation of both Ultron and The Vision in the sequel.

It has already been confirmed that Ultron will be a creation of Tony Stark’s, but the villainous android originated at least in part from an alien virus which found its way to Earth during the Chitauri invasion. The Vision meanwhile will be the brainchild of both Iron Man and his science bro, Bruce Banner.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, but things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

The movie stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson and hits May 1st, 2015. However, it should reach the UK sometime in April!
