News broke late last night courtesy of Variety that Ashton Kutcher is all set to play Steve Jobs in a new biopic focusing around the Apple and Pixar founding legend. The movie which will have the title ‘Jobs’ will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern with a script from Matt Whiteley.
According to Variety:
The film will chronicle Steve Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time.
Ashton Kutcher will take time off from his role on Two and a Half Men to complete the movie will coincide with another Jobs biopic which is currently being developed by Sony and will be based around the biography by Walter Isaacson called Steve Jobs: The Exclusive Biography.
