Directed by David Sandberg, Annabelle: Creation is an origin story that centres on the life of the Doll maker who created Annabelle and his wife whose daughter tragically died, as they decide to open their home to a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage; the doll maker’s possessed creation Annabelle, sets her sights on the children and turns their shelter into a storm of horror.

Our man in the US James Kleinmann got to speak with Director David Sandberg who divulged exactly how freeing it was to direct the prequel especially when linking it to the Conjuring series of films, having that ability to create something new instead of just regurgitating the same thing we have already seen. As well as Stephanie Sigman revealing how happy she was that the set of Annabelle: Creation was actually blessed by a priest before they started filming.
