Analeigh Tipton and Miles Teller have both been very much on the rise in recent years, and are two of the few already-excellent actors at their ages of just 23 and 25.

Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, the upcoming Gangster Squad) has clearly taken note, because as a producer on the Black List romantic comedy, Two Night Stand, Variety report that he’s paired the two in the leading roles.

“Story follows a pair of unlikely lovers who are trapped together in an apartment after a record-breaking blizzard forces them to extend a regrettable one-night stand.”

It’s a short and sweet idea, and they tend to make for some of the best comedies, so I’m already really looking forward to this.

Music video director Max Nichols (Bowling for Soup, Bullet for My Valentine) will be behind the camera, directing from the Black List script by Mark Hammer.

Teller made his feature debut in the Oscar-nominated Rabbit Hole alongside Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, and most recently starred in this year’s very successful Todd Phillips-produced Project X.

Tipton made her breakthrough placing third in Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model back in 2008, then made her feature debut in The Green Hornet. She quickly followed it up with a brilliant performance in Crazy, Stupid, Love. in Steve Carell’s side of the story, and most recently starred in Walt Whitman’s Damsels in Distress alongside Greta Gerwig and Adam Brody.

Production is set to get underway on Two Night Stand towards the end of September, and it’s already looking very promising. Fleischer is clearly a man who knows how to cast well – Zombieland and 30 Minutes or Less both have exceptional casts, along with his upcoming anticipated Gangster Squad – and if he wants Tipton and Teller in the leads for this, you know they’re going to be perfect for it. More as we get it.
