My four year old will be over to the moon to hear that Alvin and the Chipmunks will have a third movie, this time titled The Road Chip. He’s rather a big fan which means that his mother and I have to get used to those high-pitched vocals that he loves so much.
The third movie is set for release 2016 and here’s the first trailer and poster for the film set below the synopsis.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip is directed by Walt Becker and features voices from Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Matthew Gray Gubler, Justin Long, Jesse McCartney and stars Bella Thorne and Jason Lee.
Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City…and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.
