Admission PosterLed by Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, Admission promises to be a comedy gem when it arrives in theatres in Spring 2013.

We saw a great first trailer and poster debut last month. And with only a few more months to go before it hits the big screen, a second trailer has surfaced over at E! Online, giving us another look at the comedy coming our way next March.

“Tina Fey (Date Night, 30 Rock) and Paul Rudd (I Love You Man, Knocked Up) star in Admission, the new film directed by Academy Award nominee Paul Weitz (About a Boy), about the surprising detours we encounter on the road to happiness. Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Fey) is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted — but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.”

Starring alongside the leading duo will be the brilliant Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn, Gloria Reuben, Nat Wolff, Travaris Spears, and Lily Tomlin.

Paul Weitz, the Oscar-nominated director behind About a Boy, is directing from a script he co-wrote with Karen Croner (One True Thing), adapting the original novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz.

Admission will be released in the US on 8th March, 2013. Still no word on a UK release date, but here’s to hoping it will be heading to our shores shortly after, because with Fey and Rudd leading the cast, this is a must-see. For now, here’s the new trailer to set the mood.
