Upon walking in to the room to meet Aaron Taylor-Johnson, I have to admit to feel oddly nervous – and it’s not for one moment a reflection of his personality, but of the character he portrays in Tom Ford’s latest production Nocturnal Animals; a nasty, vindictive character who intimidates those he encounters.
Thankfully, Taylor-Johnson was not in any way comparable, and we discussed what it was like playing a role of this nature, and whether he feels he needs to like a character in order to portray them. He also talks about collaborating with Tom Ford, and briefly on his next project, The Wall.
