As I write this, Steven Spielberg is standing up in Hall H alongside Peter Jackson to talk about their brand new movie, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn or The Adventures of Tintin as I believe it is now known.
Based on three of Georges “Hergé” Remi’s original Tintin stories, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is directed by Steven Spielberg, and stars Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Tony Curran, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook, Cary Elwes and Gad Elmaleh.
Tintin (Bell) and his friends discover directions to a sunken ship commanded by Capt. Haddock’s ancestor and go off on a treasure hunt.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be released in the UK October 26th, almost two months before it hits US cinemas on December 23rd.
