Out in the UK and Ireland tomorrow, Michael Hoffman’s Gambit boasts a very impressive leading trio in the form of Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz, and Alan Rickman.

Written by the ever-brilliant Joel and Ethan Coen (The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men), we saw the first trailer land back in September, and with its release just one day away, we’ve got four new clips to share from the film.

“Private art curator Harry Deane devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England’s richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.”

Starring alongside Firth, Diaz, and Rickman will be Stanley Tucci, Cloris Leachman, and Tom Courtenay.

Gambit will be released in the UK and Ireland tomorrow, 21st November. There’s still no word yet on when it will be heading to the US, but if it succeeds here in the coming days and weeks, then it may well be bound for American theatres in the New Year. For now, here are the new clips from the film.
