And so it continues… Living up to the promise at the foot of yesterday’s ‘Oliver Platt in X-Men: First Class’ post, it seems we’re in for a ton of casting announcements regarding Matthew Vaughn’s film.
Today, via XmenFilms.net we’ve learned that Morgan Lily, who was last seen in Roland Emmerich’s CG apocalypse-a-thon 2012, is confirmed as the young Mystique.
The older incarnation will be played by Winter’s Bone star Jennifer Lawrence, so there’s a chance we’ll be seeing a flashback or two for each of the characters in the film.
Lily also has a role in Rob Reiner’s coming of age movie Flipped as the younger version of Juli, played by Madeline Carroll.
It’s getting hard to keep up with the cast so far, but suffice to say that everything you need to know is contained here. Still no Cyclops or Jean Grey announced yet…
