During the 30 minute footage preview of Bay’s upcoming Transformer movie, he appeared on screen in a pre-recorded video to deliver the news to excited fans, he revealed the new stories had been agonised over during the development process for ‘The Last Knight’ to lay the groundwork for the future of the series. There was an announcement last month that director Travis Knight has signed up to take the helm on the Bumblebee spin-off; that’s one down with another thirteen to go.

Transformers: The Last Knight is Bay’s last outing as director on the franchise after taking the helm on all five of the films in the franchise to date, but he went on to say he plans on going out on a high as he announced that The Last Knight had been shot in IMAX 3D using bespoke cameras.
